Introduzione alla statistica descrittiva

La parte descrittiva della statistica costituisce una conoscenza sempre più necessaria in numerosi ambiti disciplinari e professionali. Raramente però la manualistica attuale è in grado di fornire un'introduzione completa e agevole della statistica descrittiva. Il testo di Roberto Marvulli ha proprio il pregio di esporre in maniera chiara e sintetica - accessibile a chi proviene sia dagli studi umanistici sia da quelli scientifici - concetti fondamentali come i valori medi, la variabilità, la perequazione e la correlazione.
